Just because you run into some hardship along the way of trying to find that inner motivation for fitness, don’t give up. Take the time to step back re-evaluate what actually wrong, and learn from these mistakes. Even-though you can’t see when you reduce your risk of diabetes, high blood pressure or heart disease, you can make a positive impact in your health through regular exercise. Understand that you are moving and active.
- Take your time. Start off by pacing yourself and doing small workouts, re evaluating eating and build up to the more-intense workouts later, when your body and mental is ready.
- Set goals that are realistic. Don’t try to promise yourself major goals like you’re going to lose 50 lbs. in 2 months and then get down on yourself when you fall short. Stick with small manageable goals you can achieve, such as losing 2 lbs. a weekly
- Remember why you started exercising. Use your personal health and fitness goals as motivation through this, and take yourself as you meet your goals. You cant accomplish anything not trying .
